Applications is the final functionality in your CRM and is used to transact with your customers. It will automatically collect Holding fees, Deposits and Move-in payments from your customers, as well as generating E-contracts and providing Instant referencing. It gives you the ability to Edit live applications, meaning you can change rental and contracts terms on-the-go. Hence, ensuring you have full control over your lettings at all times.
You can create an application via an Enquiry Card or on the Applications dashboard. The first step in creating an application is to select the correct Building, followed by the unit the applicant wants to take. If you have already Confirmed a Unit after a viewing, these details will be automatically pre-populated.
After selecting the desired Unit, you will be asked to select a tenancy start and end date. The available dates for the specific Unit you have selected will be displayed when you select a date, unavailable dates will be greyed out.
Add the applicants you wish to join the Application by entering their email, Yorlet automatically send outs Branded email invites to applicants after you have completed the Application. Select whether or not the applicant requires a reference - we've partnered with Movem to provide Instant referencing, however if you'd like to do referencing off-platform select No. If you are adding multiple applicants you will need to set the Share of rent for each one
Set the payment schedule and add optional payment types to the application:
Price - This amount is the price per interval for the application, it should be the total amount you’d like to charge every interval.
Billing interval - This is the interval we will charge the applicants, it can be set to weekly, monthly, 3 months, 6 months or one payment.
Deposit - The security deposit for the tenancy. Leave blank if you'd like to use a No deposit scheme.
Once you've completed and sent an application to the applicant, you'll have to wait for them to complete it. This will include them filling out Legal details such as their name and address, as well as potentially paying a Holding fee and completing an Instant reference.
Once completed, the application will be sent back and you can view it from the Home dashboard. To progress the application, you will have to decide whether you want to accept or decline. It is also an opportunity for you to Edit the application. If you accept an application you will not be able to make any further changes, so make sure you and the applicant are happy with everything. If you decline the application you are given the opportunity to state a reason why, again, once you decline you cannot reverse this decision.
