You can create a deposit record when creating a rental application. To do this, navigate to the Leasing Dashboard, select New application, and progress through the application creation process until you reach the Deposit stage. By default, Yorlet will automatically create a deposit record to track deposit registration and returns. You can choose to toggle this feature off if desired. The deposit record will initially have the status Pending and will change to Active once registered.

You can view the status of your deposit and access the record from a rental application page or the dedicated Deposit Dashboard.

After creating a Deposit record, your customer must proceed to the deposit payment stage in the Application Portal, where they will be prompted to pay. Once the rental application has been finalised, and you have counter-signed the rental contract, you can register the deposit in your Yorlet account.
