Prism helps you answer detailed questions about your Yorlet data when a standard report does not cover what you need. You can create a rent roll, analyse arrears, follow a leasing funnel, compare Buildings, or prepare a custom export. Prism uses SQL, a language for asking a database questions. You do not need to know SQL: start from a template, describe the report to the built-in SQL assistant, or ask the Yorlet Assistant to create and run a query in plain English. See SQL and AI for beginners. Open Prism from the sidebar after you start a plan. If you work across an organisation, you can also open Prism in organisation view.

How it works

Prism copies the records you already have in Yorlet — Customers, Invoices, Tenancies, Payouts, and more — into a read-only snapshot. A query can analyse the snapshot but cannot change or delete your Yorlet records. The editor shows Data as of when the snapshot was last built. Standard refreshes overnight; Premium refreshes every hour. Prism is therefore best for reporting and analysis, not for checking a change made a few seconds ago. You or the assistant create a SQL query, Prism runs it, and the result appears as a table or chart. Templates fill the editor for common reports. Save a query to run it again, or schedule it to email a CSV. Amounts are stored in pence. Divide by 100 when you want pounds.

Choose how to use Prism

  • I want a common report — start from Templates, then run it as supplied or ask the SQL assistant to adjust it.
  • I know the question but not SQL — follow SQL and AI for beginners and describe the answer you need in plain English.
  • I want to explore a one-off question — ask the Yorlet Assistant to use Prism and show the result in chat.
  • I want a reusable custom report — build it in the Prism editor, check the result, then save or schedule it.
  • I already know SQL — use the Schema to find the available tables and columns.
Start with a small, specific question. Once the result looks right, ask the assistant to add grouping, totals, more columns, or a wider date range.

Enable Prism

Prism is a subscription billed on units under management, with a 14-day trial. You need the admin role to start it. To start a trial, follow these steps:
  1. Go to Your plans.
  2. Find Yorlet Prism and click Get started.
  3. Choose Monthly or Annual · save 20%, then Standard or Premium.
  4. Click Start 14-day trial and complete checkout.
Once the trial is active, Prism appears in the sidebar. See Plans for what each plan includes and how pricing scales with your portfolio.
